You’re here because you’re looking for the scoop on Satellite Direct, and I’m here because I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago. Before buying the product, I anxiously looked around for a Satellite Direct review, but I couldn’t really find anything that seemed like it gave me the info I was looking for.
I’m Adam, and I’m a college student living off campus. I’m on a pretty tight budget, and the idea of something like Satellite Direct sounded great to me when I found out about it. Like anything I buy online, it’s good to know the pros and cons of any product in advance, so I looked for the information.
I ran a quick search (like you might have just done), and after seeing a few respected sites talking up the product (and one Satellite Direct review that gave it an innovation award), I figured it was a safe buy. They also confirmed that it’s perfectly legal to use this product. I ended up downloading the software later that night, and I had no problem installing it.
From there, I was watching TV on my computer less than 20 minutes later. I wasn’t about to cancel my cable service just yet, but I had a nice first impression of the software. The sound was good, nothing was skipping or freezing up, and there were a LOT of channels to choose from. It was almost overwhelming at first, but it’s easy to navigate the channels once you get used to it after an hour or so.
The picture quality was really great. It’s just as good as the quality on TV, only it’s on my monitor. Speaking of which, it’s really easy to hook right into a plasma or other TV, as long as you have a cheap cable connector that they sell in stores. I’ve tried Satellite Direct twice for watching movies, but I’m pretty lazy otherwise and usually just watch from bed.
All in all, I don’t see how this thing won’t be really popular in a year or two. There’s really not much reason to keep on paying for cable when options like these exist. It’s only a matter of time before the word continues to spread.

“I was amazed by your large collection of channels, my cable company only had a quarter of your content. Great stuff!”
